Professional development & networking
I've participated in several trainings, attended networking events, and traveled to various conferences to represent my organization.
Nuclear Communications Forum | Washington D.C.
The Nuclear Energy Institute hosted a first-of-its-kind event, giving communications professionals in the nuclear industry an opportunity to connect and learn best practices from social media influencers, successful business executives, reporters, legislative liaisons, and more.
CERAWeek | Houston, Texas
I represented Idaho National Laboratory's advanced nuclear projects during the premier global energy conference. I rubbed shoulders with government regulators, C-suite executives, journalists, and government leaders, including U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.
Nuclear and Emerging Technologies for Space | Idaho Falls, Idaho
This is an American Nuclear Society event, held annually, which hosts representatives from NASA, policymakers, national laboratories, industry, and academia. My coworker and I staffed the Idaho National Laboratory booth in the exposition portion of the event, while attendees discussed nuclear and emerging technologies for space, propulsion, and space exploration capabilities.
